Khara or Venn Pongal is one of the authentic & traditional dish in Tamil Nadu. Taste better when prepared with cow ghee or clarified butter. The Ven Pongal dish is prepared with automatic spices & cow ghee and is a common breakfast food in Tamil Nadu and other south Indian states. Preparation: Take 1 cup of A2B Pongal mix in a pressure cooker, add 3&1/2 cups of water & pressure cook for 06 to 08 Whistles. Let it rest for 10 Minutes, open the cooker lit, mix with 1-2 tbsp A2B ghee and Serve with with your favorite sambar(dal curry) and chutney.
